What Does It Mean To Be Saved

Welcome to The Biblical Worldview, a website dedicated to the eternal truths of Sola Scriptura with uncompromising Bible study, commentary and analysis of global events by the biblical worldview. In our quest for truth without compromise, we are not bound by any religious tradition or denominational doctrine. We are also not a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization as we refuse to bow to Baal (the IRS or the government). We will teach and write the truth regardless of what men believe and do. We seek the truth as the Holy Spirit gives us the revelation of God's Word. Therefore, you will find that some of our positions are outside the scope of traditional religion that often adds to and takes away from the clear meaning of the Scriptures. Jesus told us in John 16:13 that when the Holy Spirit came upon the 120 disciples in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost, He would not only baptize and permanently indwell them, but He would also guide them into all truth. In another passage, Jesus said that if anyone is willing to continually abide in His Word, they (the serious truth seekers) will "know the truth and the truth will set them free."  While the world seeks truth from men, true believers in Jesus Christ know there are only two sources of truth for the Church - the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Unless the Holy Spirit reveals the meaning of the sacred texts, the Bible is a closed book. We must come before the Lord each day in complete submission to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to teach us the "deep things" of God in order to live our lives daily in the will of God.

It is for certain that Satan via his doctrine of demons has the majority of the world in deep darkness as well as many carnal Christians (those who claim to know the Lord, but live like unregenerate sinners). Unless we are rooted and grounded in the Word of God, the great end-time deception that is increasingly moving the world toward the final apostasy - the total rejection of Jesus and God's moral laws - may capture our hearts and minds to rebel against the truth. Jesus warned about the deception of the last days in Matthew 24 and said it will be so strong that even the elect can join the rebellion (the Greek meaning of apostasy is rebellion against the truth as set forth in the Bible). The apostle Paul wrote in II Thessalonians 2:10-12 that for those who do not love the truth, but take pleasure in unrighteousness, God will send upon them a spirit (demon) of delusion whereby they cannot comprehend the truth and in the process damn their souls to a devil's hell. The truths of the Bible are not something to be ignored or taken lightly, but to embrace in all sincerity and honesty.

The Church of Jesus Christ is the last bastion of truth in this God forsaken world, so we should approach each Lord's day with eager anticipation to worship the Lord in the teaching and preaching of His Word. It should not take a back seat to any other thing in the Church not even the so-called praise and worship in music.  Many of the modern churches have no depth of Spirit and Word due to the shallowness of the ministers and the people who seem to prefer the "husks" rather than the "true meat" of sound biblical exposition. This is the primary reason for this website - to teach the saints the "strong meat" of the Word, which they are not getting in the Churches. Under-shepherds have one primary calling of God - to feed the sheep with the Word of God (see I Peter 5:2), which is the biblical worldview. The world no doubt has an agenda and a bias toward their worldview they want you to believe and one that is unfortunately Anti-Christ. Europe has become completely secular with more than 50% according to a recent poll not believing in God or the Bible. The United States is rapidly following in the path of Europe and will soon become a strictly secular nation if not already. While other religions and their gods are welcome in the public square in this nation, the name of Jesus and Christianity are no longer tolerated.

The reason this nation is having so many problems with unpopular wars, one financial crisis after another, as well as increasing environmental and ecological calamities is that we have turned our back upon the true and living God - the Lord Christ Jesus (John 14:6; I John 5:20-21). Our nation's problems are of our own making. Our national sins have cut us off from the favor and blessings of God. We cried for our Saul because we did not want God to rule over us, so He gave us a Saul with the result our civil liberties and freedoms are being taken from us. The Constitution is not the source of our liberties, but the creator God - the God of the Bible who created the heavens and the earth and who made man in His image.  Unless there is a restoration of the Word of God in both the public square and in the Churches, this once great nation has no future but judgment. Repentance is the only thing that will save us not our ingenuity and technology.

Last, this website ministry strongly opposes homosexuality, abortion, illegal immigration and the Islamization of America.

Our insight of the Scriptures is based upon the literal grammatical method of interpretation in complete dependence upon the Holy Spirit for the revelation. This allows the biblical text to speak for itself rather than inserting our own opinions. If we do offer an opinion on difficult eschatological passages, we make that clear in our analysis. As a result, we believe you will find our commentary informative and Scripturally sound.

Concerning eschatology (prophecy), we are a Posttribulation website and believe God’s kingdom revelation is progressive and manifested in three epochs or ages - the Age of Law, the Age of Pentecost, and the Age of Tabernacles. Likewise, the grace of God is not inclusive of one particular dispensation, but is seen in all three ages. Therefore, we reject Traditional Pretribulational Dispensationalism as a man-made doctrine not supported by the Scriptures. In addition, while Futurism, Historicism, and Preterism all have some truths, we believe they do not accurately portray the Scriptural kingdom of God that is internally spiritual and outwardly earthly. The program of God from creation is to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth in the future New Jerusalem when Christ returns.

Without doubt, we live in times the Bible describes as the last days and the end-time generation (See Hebrews 1:2). Jesus gave a plethora of "signs" in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 that defines the generation to which He will return. However, before His return, the Bible describes a seven-year period known as the tribulation, which is divided into two periods of 3 1/2 years. The last period is known as the Great Tribulation (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24: 15, 21). In addition, both Daniel and the book of Revelation mention the formation of world government symbolized by 10-horns. We believe this 10-horn confederation will be 10 world regions or super states headed by the biblical Antichrist who is himself an 11th horn. Daniel's prophecy is clear these 10 horns will be in place before the Antichrist is revealed (Daniel 7:23-25). For those who are alert to the signs of the times, the formation of world government (the New World Order) is clearly visible. In 1973, the Illuminist Council for Foreign Relations (CFR) organized the world into 10 world zones. When the Soviet Union fell in 1989-1990, they reorganized their plan with the U.S., Mexico, and Canada in Zone 1; the E.U. is Zone 2; the islands from Japan to the Philippines are Zone 3; Australia, South Africa and New Zealand are Zone 4; Russia is Zone 5; Central and South America are Zone 6; North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia are Zone 7 – the “hot spot;” Central or Middle Africa is Zone 8; India is Zone 9 and China is Zone 10. While efforts to implement the Security and Prosperity Partnership Agreement (SPP) as the precursor to the North American Community Union signed by President Bush with the leaders of Canada and Mexico in March of 2005, has been currently placed on the back burner, I believe it is just a matter of time before it re-surfaces with even more determination. If enacted, the result will be that the citizens of all three nations will become official members of the NACU and the New World Order. Recently Barack Obama, using his executive powers created a Committee of Governors (10 in number) that will implement federal policies in the 50 states.  It is interesting that these ten governors were appointed to exercise authority over the states within 10 federal districts. Information is now known that the UN as far back as 1960 wanted the United States divided into 10 federal districts. It appears Mr. Obama has capitulated to the UN agenda. If as some believe, the United States is political and commercial Mystery Babylon of Revelation 18, which will be headed by the Antichrist and the 10 horns of Daniel and Revelation, this recent revelation of Obama's Committee of Governors, has interesting prophetic implications.

Note : While it is our endeavor to present the truth from the Word of God that may sharply disagree with government policies and laws, we in no way encourage or participate in any acts of sedition, anarchy, rebellion, treason, etc. against our government. Some so-called Christian websites are demeaning and seditious toward our government. Christians are never to be hateful and act with any kind of violence, but we are to pray and be salt and light. More importantly, we are to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. God Himself will judge the United States and already is. Where we see needed changes in the direction of our government, our policy is to present the facts to our readers from the biblical worldview and to encourage them to exercise their constitutional right to vote and to place in office men and women of strong Christian principles and moral character.
