What Does It Mean To Be Saved

On September 26, 2017 I had my first cataract lens implant surgery on my left eye and it was a total success - 20/20 vision for long distance and 20/25 for short distance (reading). The second surgery on my right eye, October 10, 2017, was not successful due to a faulty image mapping resulting in a lens that was too strong for long distance vision. Therefore, I am having more surgery on October 17, 2017 to replace the incorrect lens. This just proves that modern computer machines are not always perfect. It was not the fault of my eye surgeon for he was going by the computer configurations of the mapping machine.

It takes approximately 2-3 weeks after lens implant surgery to fully recover your natural eye sight. The fact that I am writing this article is not without difficulty as I have to use my left eye vision only to even see the computer screen.

On the positive side the cataracts in both eyes have been removed so now I am dealing with a lens implant situation. My eye surgeon has assured me this is not a problem to correct.

What a wonderful blessing the Lord has given us via modern technology to get rid of cataracts and at the same time to correct/improve vision to perfect or near perfect results.
