Revelation 1:3 KJV

3 Blessed is he that reads and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

The Book of Revelation cannot be fulfilled until Daniel's 70th Week - Really!

Pretribbers contend the apocalypse cannot be fulfilled until Daniel's 70th Week (the seven year tribulation) officially begins with the signing of the covenant mentioned in Daniel 9:27. However, a careful analysis and study of the Lord's Olivet Discourse (a course I taught in seminary) in Matthew 24 with the first five Seals of Revelation 6 prove the Seal Judgments have been opened for some time. In addition, a Greek word in Revelation 1:1, proves the argument of pretrib is flawed.

When John was given the prophecy, he was told to write that the events of the book were shortly to come to pass. The Greek word for "shortly" is en tachei, which means to make haste in terms of a fixed position in time, place, or state. What was the time, place, and state? Jesus gave the answer in His Olivet Discourse as recorded in Matthew 24, which deals with the end generation which I believe is 120 years (See my article on the 120-Year Generation in the Prophecy Section).

While verses 1-8 of Matthew 24 have occurred throughout the 2000 year history of the Church Age, most able Bible scholars who study and write about eschatology (last things) believe the events taking place in these verses happen in greater intensity near the time of the end. The mistake most make when interpreting Matthew 24 is to relegate the context of verses 3-31 to the seven-year tribulation when it is clear Jesus was placing emphasis on the last or end generation that will experience the consummation of prophecy, which includes the formation of the 10 horns or 10 kings (the New World Order), the rise of the Antichrist to be preceded by the False Prophet, the tribulation, the Great Tribulation, the Day of the Lord and the Second Coming. The Four Horses of the Apocalypse or the first four seals began to be opened when the end generation of 120 years began (I believe in approximately 1897 - 1900 for the secular calendar differs from the Sacred Calendar, that is, there seems to be a 3-year difference). Look at my 120-Year Chart in the Prophecy Section and see how the signs Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24:1-8 began to intensify in about 1897 or at the close of the 19th century.

By the way, the number 19 according to Bullinger's book, Number In Scripture, means "Divine Order connected with Judgment." God's divine order or plan for the Ages to complete Bible prophecy began to unfold at the close of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century.  The Four Horses of Revelation or four seals gave rise to the 5th Seal - the martyrs. According to Fox's Book of Martyrs, more Christians have been put to death in the last 100 years than at anytime in the 2000 years of Church History. The problem with many so-called Bible scholars is they do not read and understand history for if they did they would recognize prophecy being fulfilled right before their eyes.

If you want to be Scripturally correct, the Old Testament prophets as well as the book of Revelation deal primarily with the last 3 1/2 years identified by the terms - a time, times and half a time, 1260 days and 42 months, which the Trumpet Judgments describe. The bowls are reserved for the Day of the Lord.  The 6th Seal takes place immediately after the tribulation and prepares the way for the Bowls. The 7th Seal opens the Trumpets while the 7th Trumpet is the beginning of the Day of the Lord and the opening of the Bowls of Wrath, which the Church is not appointed.

The Greek language is clear however the pretrib scholars want to parse the meaning of en tachei. It means that the events of the book of Revelation began to unfold when the last or end-time generation began. Matthew 24 is not about a small tract of land in the Middle East called Israel nor is it solely about the Middle East, even though much of Bible prophecy will end there, rather it is about a global world that experiences the signs and events of Matthew 24:1-31. After verse 31 to the end of Matthew 25, the narrative is parenthetical, that is, it is added detail to the outline Jesus gave in verses 1-31. It is best to follow His outline.

As mentioned, most pretribbers are sorely ignorant of history for if they studied history in conjunction to prophecy that would have to admit or continue to ignore the truth that a significant portion of the book of Revelation is already being fulfilled.  The Lord's exposition of the Pentecostal Age in Matthew 24:1-8, as I have said, runs parallel to world history. The word "haste" means what it says, "to rush or hurry and not delay"  as understood by en tachei. Pretribbers twist the Scriptures by making en tachei  immediate in the sense of Daniel's 70th Week only with no reference to the intervening 2000 years from Christ's first advent.

I mean use your brain. Do you suppose as soon as John was allowed back on the mainland (in his day that would be Asia Minor or modern Turkey) to pastor the Church at Ephesus that he just sat on the book of Revelation and did not share it with the saints simply because he thought en tachei had no meaning until the 70th week. No, I believe John was full of excitement about what he was shown on the isle of Patmos and could not wait to teach it to the Church. I can prove that from the very book he wrote:

Revelation 22:16:

I Jesus (notice who is speaking here) have sent My angel to testify unto you (John) these things in the Churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Obviously John, like Daniel, did not know the precise time the last or end generation would began, but he knew these events would occur prior to the posttrib Day of the Lord - Revelation proves that. It cannot be any clearer that the book of Revelation was to be taught to the churches throughout the Church Age and the events of that book were not solely relegated only to a seven-year period.  This does not mean all the prophecy of the book has been fulfilled, but is already in progress of being fulfilled.

The colors of the four horses are the key to understanding when the riders mounted the horses and began to gallop the globe.

The White Horse is the New World Order promoting a false peace which includes the UN, the CFR and the Vatican - all which are symbolized by the color white. The Red Horse is Masonic Kabbalism whose political ideology is communism and whose religion is Luciferianism. Both Communists and the Masonic Illuminati celebrate May 1 as their founding day and both chose red as their color symbol.  The Black Horse is capitalism for black not green is the color of money. The pair of scales in the rider's hand is the symbol of capitalism. As I have written many times, the Black Horse is about bad capitalists destroying good capitalism, which is exactly what the Federal Reserve is doing to our money supply in conjunction with the Rothschild international banking cartel. Obama seems to be ignorant of how they are using him. The Green Horse (KJV says Pale, but the Greek word is Chlorus, which means green) is Islam because the color of Islam is green and the rider is named Death with hell following him. Islam is a culture of death that is sending millions of deceived souls to hell.  By these four horses, 1/4 of the world's population or 1.5 billion people based on today's world population will be killed beginning in the last generation. The first two world wars and all the regional wars have not killed anywhere near a billion people. Another 1/3 will be killed during the Trumpet Judgments.

The beginning of Sorrows (Matthew 24:8) is already in progress involving the first 5 Seals, not that they are fulfilled in their entirety and will lead up to the Great Tribulation Period which is the last 3 1/2 years of the end generation of 120 years.

Sadly and tragically, the book of Revelation is not taught in the churches today probably because the pastors do not understand it and are afraid they will lose members because of the content - it may scare the hell out of their members. I taught it verse by verse over a two-year period to a Church I pastored. It is a wonderful book that reveals the certain storm before the calm. (Notice how I phrased that).
